Inaugural 'Cuse Awards Set for May 1

Syracuse University student-athletes will take center stage at the inaugural ‘Cuse Awards on Tuesday, May 1 at 8:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The program will celebrate the extraordinary athletic, academic and community service achievements of Syracuse University Athletics.
ESPN announcer and Syracuse graduate Sean McDonough will host the event that will include a special presentation by former Orange standout and NFL All-Pro Art Monk. The event will be streamed live and available to the public on Orange All-Access on www.suathletics.com.

The ‘Cuse Awards will showcase academic and athletic talents and community service outreach within the University community, as well as the neighboring community. The program will include recognition of the Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, academic and athletics All-Americans, individual team awards, and the presentation of the 2007 Soladay Award.
