Princeton, N.J. – The Orange continued action at the IC4A/ECAC Championship on Saturday. Seven Syracuse student-athletes competed during the championship’s second day with two earning top-five finishes and two qualifying for finals on Sunday.
Princeton, N.J. – The Orange continued action at the IC4A/ECAC Championship on Saturday. Seven Syracuse student-athletes competed during the championship’s second day with two earning top-five finishes and two qualifying for finals on Sunday.
Junior Kaity Lambracht finished third in the heptathlon, recording a career-best mark of 5,191 points. Her point total was a NCAA Regional-qualifying mark. Freshman Uhunoma Osazuwa placed fifth in the event, posting a total of 4,820 points.
Junior Ramon Sosa and freshman Brad Miller each qualified for Sunday’s finals in their respective events and posted NCAA Regional-qualifying times. Sosa, the 110m hurdle BIG EAST Champion, posted a time of 14.23 to advance to the 110m hurdles final. Miller posted a time of 3:47.60 in the 1,500m run to qualify for Sunday’s final and the NCAA Regional.
The Orange concludes action at the IC4A/ECAC Championship on Sunday.
