
Men's Rowing Schedule Set For 2007-08

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse men’s rowing team released its schedule for the 2007-08 season. The Orange competes in four events in the fall, including the Princeton Chase on October 28 and the Foot of the Charles in Boston on November 17. The Orange hosts its annual Alumni race on October 13 and the Syracuse Fall Invitational will be held on November 3. Click here for the full schedule.
After training sessions in Miami and Columbia, S.C. in January and March, the Orange open its spring schedule in San Diego in the San Diego Crew Classic on April 5-6. The Orange then travels to Rutgers for the Ten Eyck Cup before heading to Ithaca to compete for the Goes Trophy against Navy and Cornell. Syracuse hosts its loan regatta of the spring season when Boston University and Columbia travel to Central New York to compete of the Conlan Cup on April 26.
The Eastern Sprints will be held on May 18 in Worcester, Mass. and the I.R.A. Regatta will take place June 5-7 in Camden, N.J.
Last season, the Orange finished 17th at the I.R.A. Regatta and the varsity eight went undefeated in the regular season and was ranked in the top-10 nationally all year.
