
Orange Men's Soccer Receives More National Attention

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - A week after receiving votes in the NSCAA/adidas national rankings, the Orange (2-0-2) broke into the receiving votes category in the SoccerTimes.com
national poll. Syracuse received eight votes in this week’s rankings, which were released on Monday, Sept. 10. The SoccerTimes.com rankings are based on ballots submitted by various coaches from around the country and the Orange is one of seven BIG EAST teams either ranked or receiving votes in this week’s poll.Syracuse also moved up in the receiving votes category of the the most recent NSCAA/adidas national poll released this afternoon. The Orange, which defeated Seton Hall and tied James Madison over the weekend, received 41 points, which put it just outside the top 25. The only schools receiving more votes than Syracuse this week were Washington (52), Fairfield (43) and Clemson (42).
The Orange is ranked fifth in the NSCAA/adidas Northeast Region poll and will travel to Albany for a 4:00 p.m. match with the Great Danes on Wednesday.
