Anthony Returns To Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY -- Carmelo Anthony, the 2003 Syracuse All-American who helped the Orange capture the NCAA Championship as a freshman, is returning to Central New York along with the Denver Nuggets for an NBA preseason matchup with the Phoenix Suns. The Carrier Dome will host the two clubs on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $39.50, $29.50 and $19.50, and will be available on-line (www.suathletics.com) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office during normal business hours. Anthony, a member of the gold-medal winning USA Basketball team, is scheduled to play in the Carrier Dome for the first time since an NBA preseason game during his rookie season of 2003.

The Carrier Dome will open at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening. A number of pre-game activities, including a chance to play table tennis against members of the Syracuse men's and women's basketball teams, are scheduled.
