Day One Of The Pirate Classic Cancelled

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Day one of Syracuse softball's second preseason tournament, the Pirate Classic hosted by East Carolina, was cancelled due to rain showers on Friday. The Orange was originally scheduled to play Appalachian State at 10 a.m. and East Carolina at 2 p.m.
The Orange will now play four games during the weekend instead of six to seven as previously scheduled. The updated times are as followed:
Saturday, Feb. 23
10 a.m. Syracuse vs. Appalachian State
2 p.m. Syracuse at East Carolina
Sunday, Feb. 23
9 a.m. Syracuse vs. Purdue
11 a.m. Syracuse vs. Penn State
