
Kohn Named Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Aulton Kohn, a sprinter on the men’s track & field team, is the Syracuse University Male Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 24.
Kohn, from Beaufort, S.C., is a two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll selection. He is pursuing his graduate degree in information management.
Kohn finished 15th in the 200m dash at the 2007 Division I Outdoor NCAA Championship. He twice captured the 200m dash crown at the Indoor and Outdoor BIG EAST Championship. Kohn owns the Orange’s indoor 200m dash school record with a time of 21.18.
The Orange track & field teams begin the 2008 outdoor season on Friday, March 28 at the two-day Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. Additionally, Syracuse will compete at the Dick Shea Open on Saturday, March 29 in West Point, N.Y.
