BALTIMORE, Md. -- Syracuse traveled to Baltimore on Wednesday to begin its quest for the program's first national championship. The team held a practice, continuing its preparations for its NCAA Championship semifinal showdown against No. 1 seed and three-time defending national champion Northwestern. The team meet on Friday at 6 p.m. at Towson University. The Orange advanced to the semifinals for the first time in school history by defeating North Carolina in the quarterfinals, 13-11. Syracuse enters Friday's game on an 11-game winning streak on its way to an 18-2 record.

Friday's contest will be televised live on CBS College Sports and will be broadcast on WJPZ 89.1FM in the Syracuse area.
