DePetris Named Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Jackie DePetris, a member of the women’s lacrosse team, is the Syracuse University Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the week of May 26.
DePetris, a Radnor, Pa., native, was named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star following the 2006-07 academic year and has earned Athletic Director’s Honor Roll distinction in three consecutive semesters. She is majoring in health and exercise science.
DePetris started 18 of 21 games in 2008, posting 22 points on 21 goals and one assist. She claimed 16 groundballs and 13 draw controls.
