Three Syracuse Women's Rowers Named National Scholar-Athletes by CRCA

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse women’s rowing team has three student-athletes named National Scholar-Athletes by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). Senior Erica Mahon, junior Sarah Stapp and sophomore Ildiko Toth were the three Orange honored.
The CRCA recognizes student-athletes who are at least sophomore standing, have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and have been members of the institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the spring season.
Mahon rowed in the 6-seat of the varsity eight.
Stapp rowed in the varsity eight 2-seat against Boston University, Boston College, Cornell, Yale, Pennsylvania and Northeastern. She also saw time in the second varsity eight boat at the Charles River Challenge, the BIG EAST Championship and the Eastern Sprints.
