
Syracuse Chiefs Host Orange Pride Night

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – On Monday, August 4, the Syracuse Chiefs will host Orange Pride Night when they welcome the Charlotte Knights for a 7 p.m. game at Alliance Bank Stadium.
Prior to the game, representatives from Syracuse Athletics will be on hand to give away 2008 Syracuse Football posters and schedules. Orange All-American Chris Gedney '93 will also be on hand to to sign autographs prior to throwing out the opening pitch.
Gedney holds the Syracuse records for season (34) and career (91) receptions by a tight end. He was named to the Orange All-Century football team in 1999. Gedney played in the NFL from 1993-2000 with the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals. He currently is an assistant athletics director for Syracuse's Orange Club and serves as a color analysts on SU football broadcasts.
All fans who complete the flyer will receive $3 off that night’s game or any remaining game on the Chiefs schedule. Ticket orders can be placed via mail, phone or fax through the Syracuse Chiefs box office, or in person at Alliance Bank Stadium. The completed flyer must be present to receive discount. Opponents for the remaining games include the Pawtucket Red Sox, the Rochester Red Wings and the Buffalo Bisons.
