Orange Looks to Extend Streak Against BIG EAST Foe Louisville

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Orange tries to extend it home unbeaten streak to three games when it hosts Louisville on Sunday at noon at the SU Soccer Stadium. After a 1-1 tie against Cincinnati on Friday, Syracuse enters today's game with an overall mark of 4-5-3, including a 1-2-1 record in BIG EAST play. The Cardinals are 3-7-0 overall, 0-4 in conference action.
THE SERIES
Syracuse and Louisville are meeting for only the second time on the soccer field. The first contest between the two squads came in 2006 in Louisville, with the Cardinals coming away with a 2-0 victory.
BERRY CONTINUES TO CLIMB
Senior Chelsea Berry recorded her second assist of the year in Syracuse's 1-1 tie against Cincinnati. The assist was the 10th of her career, which moves her into a three-way tie for seventh place on Syracuse career leader list. Berry, who has led the Orange in assists the past two seasons, is tied with Tracy Stalker (1998-01) and Nina Scalzo (2000-04).
BENNETT-HATTAN LOOKS FOR ANOTHER RECORD
Eliza Bennett-Hattan recorded her 20th career win in the Orange' s victory against Providence. She is now tied with Riley Wogamon (1996-99) for third on Syracuse's career wins leader list. Katie Karlander (1999-00) holds the record for most career wins with 24.
