
Dove Earns BIG EAST Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Syracuse junior Christina Dove has been named to the BIG EAST Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll for her performance in two games last week. She recorded 10 points on eight goals and two assists and took over sole possession of third place on Syracuse's career scoring list with 193 points.
Dove set a career high with eight points on six goals and two assists in Syracuse's 19-11 victory at Towson. Her first goal of the game tied the score at 4-4 and sparked the Orange on a 12-0 scoring run. All six of Dove's goals came during the run. At Northwestern, she had a pair of goals to go along with four draw controls.
This season, Dove is tied for the team lead in goals (25) and ranks second in scoring (35). She is just seven points away from becoming the third player in school history to record 200 points. Dove also ranks third on the Orange's career goals scored list (147) and sixth in career assists (46).
Syracuse returns to BIG EAST play this weekend when it hosts Louisville on Friday at 7 p.m. and Cincinnati on Sunday at noon in the Carrier Dome. Admission to both games is free of charge.
