SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse softball team (28-18, 11-9) has added a doubleheader with Colgate to its regular-season schedule announced head coach Leigh Ross Wednesday. The two squads will meet Friday, May 1 at 4 p.m. at the SU Softball Stadium.

This will be the third all-time meeting between the two teams and the first since 2001. The Orange handed Colgate back-to-back 1-0 setbacks in the April 10 doubleheader.

The Red Raiders are 24-15 on the season and hold a 12-8 record in Patriot League play. Following its doubleheader with Syracuse, Colgate will take on Bucknell in the Patriot League Tournament in Bethlehem, Pa.

What's Next

Syracuse hosts its final games of the season on Sunday, May 3 when Rutgers comes to town. Action is set to begin at 12 p.m. The Orange will celebrate Senior Day to honor the contributions of the team's five seniors.
