
Orange Goes For Third Straight Win

Syracuse goes for its third straight win on Friday when it travels to Hamilton to take on Colgate at 7 p.m. The Orange is coming off two 1-0 road victories last weekend, improving its record to 2-2-1. The Raiders enter Friday's match with a 1-2-1 mark.
The Orange and Colgate have faced each other 13 times on the soccer pitch. Syracuse holds a 10-2-1 advantage in the series. Colgate is one of three opponents that Syracuse has battled each year since the program's inaugural season in 1996.
SCOUTING COLGATE
Colgate enters Friday's game with a 1-2-1 record. The Raiders competed Colorado Soccer Classic where it tied Oregon, 1-1, and lost to Denver, 1-0. Maddie Malone leads the team in goals (2) and points (4), while Jamie Herrmann has a goal and an assist. Ashley Walsh has started all four games in goal for Colgate. She has a 0.94 goals-against average and a .879 save percentage.
ORANGE CHANGES WAYS ON THE ROAD
Syracuse's win at Fordham was the Orange's first victory away from the SU Soccer Stadium since October 2007. Syracuse won its second straight road contest with a 1-0 decision at Binghamton. It marks the first time the Orange has won back-to-back road games since the 2003 campaign when SU won its first two away contests of the season.
