Canada Ends FIBA Tournament Run

Coach Leo Rautins and his Team Canada squad lost to Argentina in the quarterfinals of the FIBA Americas Tournament on Tuesday night, 67-51. Andy Rautins had three points and two assists for Canada in the loss.
Canada had advanced out of pool play with a 2-2 record. The top four teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2010 World Championships in Turkey. The United States automatically qualified for the World Championships by winning the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics.
Andy Rautins will now return to Syracuse for his senior year with the Orange.
