The new “Orange Shoppe” at the Carrier Dome will have a sweet taste, but the candy will be collectibles. Syracuse-Steiner Collectibles will host a grand opening of the new “Orange Shoppe,” a store located in the friendly confines of the Carrier Dome, which will feature historic Syracuse memorabilia on Saturday, January 23, beginning at 12:00 p.m., two hours prior to the Syracuse vs. Marquette game.
There's more! The first 100 patrons to make a purchase at the new “Orange Shoppe” will receive a Steiner Sports gift card, valued at $25. A drawing will be held 30 minutes before the 2:00 p.m. tipoff for one lucky fan to win an exclusive Syracuse-Steiner collectible – a piece of the 2003 NCAA Championship floor! The winner must be present to redeem the prize.
The new “Orange Shoppe,” located adjacent to Club 4·4 (between sections 107-109), will feature such items as actual court pieces from 2003 NCAA Championship floor, legendary Jim Brown signed memorabilia and vintage photos, Jim Boeheim autographed "6 OT" inscription basketballs, licensed apparel, game used product and signed memorabilia. Public signings by Syracuse greats from all sports will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
Steiner Sports chairman Brandon Steiner is a Syracuse alumnus and first launched Syracuse-Steiner Collectibles in 2007, its first collegiate sports agreement. Since then, Steiner has added Notre Dame, UNC and a recently-announced agreement with National football champion Alabama.
