The 20-2 record continues to mark the best season start in program history for the Orange.
Todd led five SU student-athletes who tallied five or more digs on the day. The Whitby, Ontario native hit .462 with a match-high 14 kills, five digs and four assisted blocks. Junior outside hitter Noemie Lefebvre was second with 10 kills and seven assists while senior right side Mindy Stanilovaitis had eight kills and five block assists. Freshman middle Lindsay McCabe hit a match-best .556 with six kills and four blocks while sophomore middle Samantha Hinz added five kills and a match-best six total blocks. Defensively, Williams led the back row with eight digs in her retuarn to action after missing the past six games with a knee injury. Senior defensive specialist Sarah Hayes added three digs to round out the defense.
The Orange came out swinging, never trailing for the entirety of the first set and securing a 25-16 win.
