
Johnson, Rautins Square Off In NBA Preseason Game

Former Syracuse teammates Wesley Johnson and Andy Rautins squared off in an NBA Preseason game on Wednesday night. Johnson's MInnesota Timberwolves defeated Rautins' New York Knicks, 106-100, in a game played in Paris, France.
Johnson finished with 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals as Minnesota improved to 2-0 in preseason action. Minnesota was without former Syracuse standout Jonny Flynn, who is recovering from off-season hip surgery.
The Wolves were paced by Kevin Love, who scored 17 points and added 14 rebounds.
Rautins, one of the most prolific three-point shooters in SU history, converted two long-distance shots for six points.
Johnson, Flynn and another former Syracuse performer, Jason Hart, return to the Carrier Dome for a matchup with the Detroit Pistons on Friday, October 15.
