SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse looks to capture the Legends Classic Championship when it hosts Georgia Tech on Saturday night at Boardwalk Hll in Atlantic City, N.J.

JACKSON AVERAGING DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Senior Rick Jackson leads Syracuse in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 12.4 points and 12.8 rebounds per game. He has posted double-doubles in each of the last four games. Jackson leads the BIG EAST in rebounds and defensive rebounds.
A LOOK AT THE ORANGE
Syracuse extended its winning streak to five games with a 53-50 victory against Michigan in the semifinals of the Legends Classic on Friday, November 26. Junior Kris Joseph led the Orange with a season-high 22 points, while senior Rick Jackson added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Junior Scoop Jardine had 11 points and five assists and freshman Baye Moussa Keita had nine rebounds in a reserve role.
SU was down by two at the half but limited Michigan to just 19 second-half points.SU held the Wolverines to 20-of-62 (.323) from the field, including 8-of-32 (.250) from the 3-point line.
SCOUTING GEORGIA TECH
The Yellow Jackets are 4-1 after defeating UTEP Friday night in the other semifinal of the Legends Classic. Georgia Tech has won its last three games.
Three players are averaging double figures in scoring, led by Iman Shumpert's 14.8 points per game. Brian Oliver averages 12.6 points and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per contest, while Glen Rice has an 11.8 points per game average through the first five games.
Georgia Tech is coached by St. John Fisher graduate and former Siena head coach Paul Hewitt. He is in his 11th season with the Yellow Jackets.
