SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior Kuba Kotynia represented the Orange at the AT&T Short Course National Championships in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend.
The Lodz, Poland native placed 36th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 55.92, while qualifying for the final in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing 18th in the preliminary swim with a mark of 2:00.11. He rounded out the meet with an 18th-place finish in the 200 breast, touching the wall at 2:00.29.
Kotynia and the Orange head to San Juan, Puerto Rico beginning Jan. 5 for a week of semester break training before returning to the pool for its final home meet Feb. 4-5 against Villanova and Providence.
