Orange Men Named All-Academic Squad

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men's track & field team was named a 2010 Division I All-Academic squad by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Syracuse was joined by 72 other institutions who earned the distinction as a result of compiling a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better. The Orange earned a cumulative GPA of 3.15, which was in the top 50 percentile of the All-Academic team list.
This honor was not the first of its kind for the Orange as it also earned the 2010 NCAA Division I Academic Performance Rate (APR) public recognition award for the first time in school history. Both the men's indoor and outdoor programs achieved an APR score in the top 10 percent of teams in Division I track and field.
