Some of the top performers in Syracuse basketball history are returning to the Carrier Dome to compete in a "Legends" scrimmage as part of the school's Midnight Madness on Friday, October 14.
Among those expected to participate are Adrian Autry, Roosevelt Bouie, Jonny Flynn, Donte Greene, WEsley Johnson, Gerry McNamara, Lawrence Moten, Andy Rautins, Lazarus Sims, Howard Triche, Gene Waldron, John Wallace and Hakim Warrick.
Derrick Coleman, Billy Owens and Pearl Washington have signed on as honorary coaches.
Additional entertainment will be provided by up-and-coming rapper Meek Mill, a Philadelphia native who records on the Maybach Music Group. Mill's current single, “Tupac Back,” has been climbing the U.S. R&B and Rap charts. Russian Bar Trio, an acrobatic act as seen on the popular television show America's Got Talent, is also scheduled to perform its death-defying feats at midcourt.

Syracuse fans are encouraged to dress in orange, break out the “Big Heads” and ignite “the Loud House.”
Midnight Madness will offer SU basketball fans the chance to see the 2011-12 editions of the men's and women's team for the first time this fall. Both programs are coming off 20-win campaigns and postseason appearances. Scrimmages and drills from the men's and women's basketball teams will take place as well as a dunk contest and other activities.
Coach Jim Boeheim heads into his 36th season at the helm of the nationally-ranked men's program with returning starters Scoop Jardine, Kris Joseph, Baye Keita and Brandon Triche. The women's team has its top two scorers and rebounders – Kayla Alexander and Iasia Hemingway -- back in the fold for Coach Quentin Hillsman.
Doors will open for Midnight Madness at 7:00 p.m. with the event scheduled to get underway at 8:00 p.m.
