2012 Schedule
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the first time in program history, the Syracuse University softball team will play regular season games in the Carrier Dome.
The “Duel in the Dome” is set for March 23rd and 24th, where the Orange will play Colgate on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., and will be televised by Time Warner. The Orange will then face Canisius on Saturday. The game time is still to be determined.
The Syracuse softball team will also host a high school team camp that weekend to be held in the Dome.
The Orange was 45-13 and won its second-consecutive BIG EAST Tournament title. The 2012 schedule features 11 teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year. Syracuse opens the season on February 10th at the Kujikawa Classic hosted by Arizona State.
