SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University softball squad has teamed up with Robbie T's Pizza for the “Outs for Eats” promotion during the 2011 season. Two lucky fans will have an opportunity to win a free small cheese pizza at EVERY home SU softball game.
The Orange will draw a number after retiring the side in order – one, two, three. The fan whose program number matches the one that is randomly selected will win a coupon for a free pizza redeemable at Robbie T's. A maximum of two pizzas will be given out per game.
The softball team will play its first home games of the 2011 season on April 9-10, when the Orange takes on the Irish of Notre Dame in a three-game series. The squads will face off in a doubleheader beginning at noon on Saturday, followed by the series finale on Sunday at 11 a.m. All of SU's home contests will take place at the SU Softball Stadium on Syracuse's South Campus.
