CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Syracuse women's rowing concluded its stellar fall season on Saturday with a varsity four victory at the Foot of the Charles in Cambridge, Mass.
The Orange's top V4 won in a time of 13:50.8, beating the two top crews from Harvard-Radcliffe (13:58.6 and 14:10.7). Syracuse's "B" boat finished fourth in a time of 14:17.2.
The Orange's three remaining V4's also claimed 11th place ("D" in 14:32.5), 17th place ("C" in 14:52.8) and 24th place ("E" in 15:09.6).
Also rowing for the Orange was its third varsity eight crew, which turned in an impressive third-place finish in 14:07.0 behind Rhode Island (13:57.6) and Harvard-Radcliffe (13:59.8).
The Foot of the Charles wraps up a successful fall season for head coach Justin Moore's Orange which included dominating performances at the Head of the Genesee and Syracuse Invitational, as well as impressive outcomes at the Head of the Charles and the Princeton Chase.
Syracuse begins its spring racing season on March 16 when it competes in Clemson, S.C. against the host Tigers, Indiana, Boston University and Marist.
