
Hart and Hall Named Scholar-Athletes

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Junior forward Nolan Hart (Albany, N.Y.) of the men's basketball team and senior Elashier Hall (Washington, D.C.) of the women's basketball team are the Syracuse University Orange Scholar-Athletes for the week of Dec. 10, 2012.
Hart has seen action in six games this season, tallying two points, two rebounds and a steal in 2012. He was a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2011 and a member of the SU Athletic Director's Honor Roll second semester last season.
He is majoring in sports management in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics.
Hall has started in all 10 games this season, averaging 8.8 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game in 2012. She recorded a season-high 15 points and 11 rebounds in the Orange's 75-72 overtime victory against Georgia Tech.
She was named to the 2010-11 and 2009-10 BIG EAST All-Academic Team and has been a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the 2010 Fall and Spring semesters at SU. She is majoring in accounting and real estate in the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
Hall and the rest of the women's basketball team will host Binghamton (9-1) on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Carrier Dome before Hart and the #4/4 men's basketball teams (8-0) take on Canisius at 7 p.m. in the first game of the Gotham Classic.
