Game Notes
BOSTON, Mass. - The Syracuse University tennis team (3-3) continues its tough road schedule in Boston this weekend, as SU faces off with No. 55 Boston College on Saturday and No. 60 Harvard on Sunday.
SU looks for a marquee win this weekend as all three losses have come on the road against ranked opponents. But against non-ranked opponents, SU has not conceded a single match in its three victories, winning 7-0 each time. With two more ranked opponents awaiting Syracuse's arrival in Boston, this weekend will be a good opportunity for the team to prove it can beat top competition on the road before it enjoys a four-game home stand.
Harman Looks to Continue Singles Win Streak
Senior Emily Harman has led Syracuse's recent success (3-1 against its last four opponents). She has Played first singles in every contest for the Orange this season, and has five consecutive wins and a 1-1 record against nationally-ranked singles opponents. Harman will look to continue her winning ways when she faces No. 108 Jessica Wacnik of Boston College on Saturday.
Doubles Domination
The sophomore tandem of Maddie Kobelt and Aleah Marrow have played to a record of 5-1 in the early part of the season. The two have played every doubles match together from court two, and are currently riding a four match winning-streak.
Series History
Boston College leads the all-time series against the Orange 19-7, while Harvard leads 5-3. Saturday's match with BC is set for 1:00 p.m. while the contest with Harvard is at 9:00 a.m.
