PITTSBURGH, Pa. – In its final preparation for the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the East Region No. 1 seed Syracuse Orange (31-2) participated in Media Day and had its final shoot around at the Consol Energy Arena on Wednesday.
The day started with a closed practice on the campus of the host school, Duquense University. The Orange then made its way to the site of the tournament to speak with the media and take the floor for 40 minutes.
Seniors Scoop Jardine and Kris Joseph sat at the podium from 1:35-1:50, followed by coach Jim Boeheim from 1:50-2:05. The team then had the court from 2:15-2:55.
No. 1 seed Syracuse and the No. 16 seed UNC Asheville Bulldogs (24-9) meet tomorrow afternoon in the second round of the tournament. Tipoff is set for 3:10 and will be televised on truTV.
