Syracuse's men's basketball recruiting class of 2012 has been rated 17th by ESPN RecruitingNation in updated rankings released May 17.
The Orange class includes center DaJuan Coleman from Jamesville-DeWitt High School and combo forward Jerami Grant from DeMatha Catholic High School (Md.).
Coleman, a McDonald's All-American, was ranked the sixth-best center and 14th in the ESPN 100. He was selected the 2012 Mr. New York Basketball. He helped Jamesville-DeWitt to the 2011 Class A State Championship and had 22 points and 16 rebounds in the title game.
Grant is the 11th-rated power forward and 37th in the ESPN 100. He is the son of former NBA player Harvey Grant and the nephew of four-time NBA champion Horace Grant. He participated in the 2012 Jordan Brand Classic and the All-American Championship.
Syracuse's class, with a grade of A-, was ranked third among BIG EAST Conference schools.
