Mastracci Wins Silver Medal
Gennaro Makes Olympic Squad
Syracuse men's basketball head coach Jim Boeheim, former men's rower Mike Gennaro and current women's rower Natalie Mastracci were recognized for their achievements at the 2012 London Olympics on Saturday at the Orange football game vs. Stony Brook at the Carrier Dome.
Between the first and second quarters, Boeheim, an assistant coach for the gold medal-winning USA men's basketball team, Gennaro, a member of the USA rowing team, and Mastracci, a rower for the silver medal-winning Canada women's eight, were honored on the field and interviewed by Time Warner Cable Sports.

The three were honored along with Syracuse deputy athletic director Herman Frazier, a 1976 Olympic gold medalist for the United States in the 4x400 relay.
Syracuse was also represented in London by USA field hockey player Shannon Taylor and Nigerian heptathlete Uhunoma Osazuwa.
