SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. No. 4/5 Syracuse puts its eight-game winning streak on the line when it hosts Binghamton on Saturday, Dec. 7. Tipoff in the Carrier Dome is set for 7 p.m. The Orange has opened the season with eight straight wins, while the Bearcats are 2-5 this season.
Tickets for Saturday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

What to Watch For – Syracuse
1. Syracuse leads the ACC and ranks ninth in the nation in steals, averaging 10.5 per game. The Orange has three players who rank in the top 10 in the league in steals per game, including freshman Tyler Ennis, who leads the league and is tied for 13th in the nation (3.0 spg.) Sophomore Trevor Cooney is third in the ACC (2.6 spg.) and senior C.J. Fair ranks 10th (1.6 spg.).
2. The Orange's zone defense played a significant role in its win against Indiana as the Hoosiers couldn't solve SU's 2-3 zone. IU went more than 12 minutes without a field goal in the second half and managed to score just 23 points after intermission. Syracuse limited Indiana to a 36.6 shooting percentage, including a 4-for-14 performance from three-point range.
3. Senior C.J. Fair continues to lead the Orange in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game. He has reached double figures in scoring in seven of eight games this season and ranks ninth in the ACC in scoring.
What to Watch For – Binghamton
1. Binghamton snapped a four-game losing streak with a 74-70 victory against Mt. St. Mary's on December 4. The win improved the Bearcats' record to 2-5.
2. Jordan Reed leads BinghamOrange ton in nearly every statistical category, including scoring (15.4 ppg.), rebounding (10.1 rpg.), blocks (7) and steals (12).
3. Syracuse fans will see a familiar face on the Binghamton bench. Lazarus Sims is in his second season as a member of Tommy Dempsey's staff. Sims played on three NCAA Tournament teams at Syracuse and helped the 1995-96 squad to the national championship game. Sims served as SU's coordinator of player development from 2007-12.
THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Binghamton, 4-0. The teams played every year from 2001-2004. In the most recent contest, the Orange defeated the Bearcats, 85-56, in the Carrier Dome.
