Fair Earns Third Weekly Honor

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Following a pair of double figure performances this week against two conference foes, junior C.J. Fair earned his third weekly honor of the season after being selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Fair led the offense with 20 points and 10 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season in the Orange's 84-59 win against Providence. Despite the outcome, he returned to the helm of the offense with 13 points against Georgetown, marking his 17th consecutive game in double digit scoring.
Averaging 14.2 points per game, Fair is the Orange's second leading scorer, tallying 384 points on the year, while averaging a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game.
Fair and the rest of the SU men's basketball team will travel to Marquette to take on the Golden Eagles this evening in the Al McGuire Center. Tip time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
