KNOXVILLE, TEN. - The Syracuse women's basketball team had its final day of preparation for its first round NCAA Tournament game against Creighton, tomorrow, March 23, at 11:20 a.m. at Thompson-Boiling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. Prior to its practice on Pat Summitt Court, head coach Quentin Hillsman and seniors Kayla Alexander, Elashier Hall and Carmen Tyson-Thomas, addressed the media in an official press conference.
"We are very happy to be here, we are happy to still be playing, and I think this time of year is about a couple of things," Hillsman said. "It is about being healthy and we are that, and having a definite scheme and a style of play and we have that. So I think that we are in the best possible situation to be successful at this point in the season."
