SYRACUSE, N.Y. -Â Syracuse women's basketball (11-4, 0-2 ACC) seeks its first ACC victory on Sunday when it hosts Georgia Tech (11-4, 1-1 ACC) in a 1 p.m. tip-off on Daughter Day at the Carrier Dome.

GAME COVERAGE
• Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (323) with Mark Larson and Lorraine Schunck on the call.

DAUGHTER DAY
• Fans are encouraged to bring their daughters to the game, where they will receive a "Daughter Day" t-shirt, as well as be eligible for contests, prizes and more. There will be an autograph session with the Orange after the game.
• Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors. They can be purchased online, at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B) or by calling 1-888-DOMETIX. As always, parking is free for women's basketball games in all Campus West lots.

HOT START TO '13-14
• Syracuse went 11-2 in its non-conference schedule, the seventh time in program history the Orange was 11-2 or better after 13 games.
• Its current 11-4 mark is the seventh-straight season under Quentin Hillsman that SU has been 11-4 or better 15 games into the year.
• The Orange has outscored its opponents by an average of 16.9 points, scoring 78.6 points per game while allowing just 61.7.

• ...be its first ACC victory. It was 197-298 in 31 seasons in the BIG EAST.
• ...make Syracuse 8-1 at home this season and 84-33 all-time at the Carrier Dome.

SERIES HISTORY
• Though the teams have played against each other only once previously, you don't have to look back very far. Syracuse defeated Georgia Tech, 75-72, in overtime on Nov. 23, 2012 in the San Juan Shootout in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
• In a game that saw 15 lead changes, Elashier Hall scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Orange. She made 3-of-4 free throws in the final 20.8 seconds to seal the win. Dawnn Maye led Tech with 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
• Georgia Tech is 11-4 on the season, including a 1-1 start to ACC play.
• The Yellow Jackets are receiving votes in both the AP and USA TODAY coaches polls, while ranking 42nd in the first official NCAA RPI of the season (Jan. 7).
• GT opened conference play with a 64-47 loss at home to No. 3 Duke on Jan. 5. It followed that up with a 89-68 win at Clemson on Wednesday.
• The Yellow Jackets are 0-4 against ranked teams, losing at No. 4/3 Tennessee (87-76), at No. 23/21 Georgia (63-56), and vs. No. 13/16 Oklahoma State (68-60) in Puerto Rico, along with the Duke loss.
• Tech won the LIU Turkey Classic over Thanksgiving, beating Southern Utah and McNeese State.
• The Yellow Jackets are a strong rebounding team, leading the ACC in rebounds per game (47.5) and offensive rebounds per game (19.6), while ranking fourth in the conference and 19th nationally in rebounding margin (+9.7).
• Freshman 6-2 guard Kaela Davis leads the team and is fifth in the ACC in scoring (18.2 ppg). The McDonald's All-American also grabs 6.2 rebounds per game and has hit 36 3-pointers.
• All-ACC senior guard Tyaunna Marshall is scoring 17.8 ppg (eighth in the ACC) and leads the team in rebounding with 8.0 per game.
• Eleventh year head coach MaChelle Joseph led GT to a 14-16 record last season, including 7-11 in ACC play.

IN THE POLLS
• Syracuse dropped out of both the AP and USA TODAY Coaches top 25 polls this week, receiving 39 points in the AP and 24 in the coaches poll.
• The Orange was ranked an all-time program high 20th the previous two weeks in the AP poll. It was No. 23 in the coaches poll two weeks ago and No. 24 last week.
• The Orange debuted in the AP poll on Dec. 2 at No. 22 and was ranked for four-straight weeks.
• SU ranked 17th in the first official NCAA RPI of the season on Jan. 7. It is 14th as of Jan. 10, according to RealTimeRPI.com.

LAST TIME OUT
• Syracuse was outpaced by No. 3 Duke (15-1, 2-0 ACC), 86-53, losing for the first time at home this season on Thursday night in the Carrier Dome.
• Brianna Butler led SU with 14 points, going 4-12 from beyond the arc. Shakeya Leary was a basket shy of a double-double, scoring eight points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Brittney Sykes also scored eight points.
• Tricia Liston led six Blue Devils in double figures with 20 points. Elizabeth Williams had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
• As a team, Duke shot 55.9 percent from the field, the highest of any SU opponent this season, and 50 percent from 3-point range. Syracuse shot 27.9 percent overall, its lowest mark this year.

DOME SWEET DOME
• SU has a record of 83-33 (.716) in 116 games in the Carrier Dome since moving there full-time in 2006-07, including a 7-1 mark this season as it has outscored its opponents by an average of 27.3 ppg (83.2-55.9).
• SU went 13-1 at home last season, tied for its best home winning percentage in program history. The Orange also went 13-1 in 1987-88.

• The Orange hits the road for a pair of ACC games next week. On Thursday, Syracuse plays at No. 6 Maryland before heading to Pittsburgh to face the Panthers on Sunday, Jan. 19.
