SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Orange fans will get their first look at the 2014-15 version of the Syracuse men's basketball team on Sunday, November 2 when it hosts Carleton in the Carrier Dome. The exhibition opener is set for 1 p.m.
Tickets for Sunday's game are available online, by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or in person at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Fans not in attendance can watch the game live on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel across New York State.
The Orange started 2013-14 season with a school-record 25 consecutive victories and finished the year with a 28-6 mark. Trevor Cooney and Rakeem Christmas are Syracuse's top returners. Cooney led the squad with 90 three-point field goals and averaged 12.1 points per game. Christmas recorded 5.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game and tallied a team-high 66 blocked shots a year ago.
The Ravens went 4-1 in exhibition games against Division I teams this summer. Two of the wins came against Memphis. Syracuse faced Carleton in Ottawa on Aug. 23, 2013 on the Orange's tour of Canada. The Ravens led by as many as 15 but Syracuse stormed back to defeat the three-time defending Canadian champion, 69-65 in overtime.
