Orange cross country teams and Pagano up for Awards

Niagara Track and Field Hall of Fame has Syracuse and Pagano as finalists for a pair of awards
The 2013 Syracuse men's and women's cross country teams and former student-athlete Sarah Pagano are up for awards from the Niagara Track and Field Hall of Fame.
The men and women are each up for the Charles H. Moore award, which is presented annually to the most outstanding cross country or track and field team in the Niagara Association.
The Syracuse men won its first ACC title last year also taking the NCAA Northeast Regional and finishing 10th at the NCAA Championships.
The women's team raced to a third place finish at the ACC Championships and Northeast Regional, while going onto place 22nd at the NCAA Championships.
The teams are finalists along with the Cornell Indoor track and field team from last season.
Pagano, a 2014 graduate, is up for the Doriane Lambelet Award, which is presented to the most outstanding NCAA Division I student-athlete in track and field or cross country.
Pagano took seventh overall at the NCAA Championships in the 10,000-meters and was selected as an All-American for her performance.
She is up against Ashley Fields of Baylor and Cornells Rachel Sorna for the award.
