SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- No. 1/1 Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome to take on North Carolina State on Saturday, Feb. 15. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The Orange looks to improve on its program-best 24-game winning streak.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (24-0, 11-0)
1. Syracuse is one of only two undefeated teams in Division I. The other is Wichita State from the Missouri Valley Conference. The Shockers play at Evansville on Sunday.
2. Sophomore Trevor Cooney connected on three three-point field goal attempts at Pittsburgh. He now has 74 three-pointers this season, which ties him for second place on Syracuse's record list for three-pointers by a sophomore. Matt Roe hit 74 three-pointers in 1987-88. Cooney is chasing the record held by current assistant coach Gerry McNamara, who made 105 three-pointers in 2003-04.
3. Sophomore Michael Gbinije came off the bench to provide valuable minutes for the Orange in its victory at Pittsburgh. He was 4-for-4 from the free throw line on his way to seven points in 22 minutes of action. Gbinije also tied his career high with three defensive rebounds.
What to Watch For – North Carolina State (16-8, 6-5)
1. North Carolina State is coming off an 82-67 win at Wake Forest for the team's second consecutive victory and fourth straight win at home. The Wolfpack is now 16-8 overall and 6-5 in conference action, which is good for sixth place in the ACC standings.
2. Sophomore T.J. Warren had a breakout performance against Wake Forest with a career-high 34 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season. Warren is one of college basketball's top scorers, ranking eighth nationally and first in the ACC with a 23.1 points per game average
3. Third-year head coach Mark Gottfried has led the Wolfpack to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, making him just the third coach in ACC history to do so in his first two years as head coach. Previously, Gottfried served as the head coach at Alabama from 1998-2009.
THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with North Carolina State, 4-1. The Orange was also ranked No. 1 the last time the squads met in Raleigh on Dec. 17, 2011. Dion Waiters led SU with 22 points, while Kris Joseph added 21 points. C.J. Fair contributed 11 points off the bench, helping Syracuse outscore the Wolfpack's reserves, 46-4. North Carolina State recorded its only victory in the series on Dec. 8, 2001 in the Carrier Dome (82-68).
CAN IT!
Fans attending Saturday's game are encouraged to bring canned food items to help combat hunger in the local community. "Can It" is a University-wide interfaith initiative to collect canned food and monetary donations for the Food Bank of Central New York. The items can be deposited at gates upon entry into the Dome. Monetary donations can also be made at the gates or in the backcourt through halftime.
