GREENSBORO, N.C. -- No. 11/11 Syracuse will play in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament for the first time beginning Friday, March 9 against North Carolina State. The quarterfinal matchup tips off at 7 p.m. The Orange is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, while the Wolfpack is the seventh seed.
The game will be televised on ESPN and the ACC Network. Fans not in attendance can listen to the action on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network and its flagship TK99 (99.5 FM). Live audio will be available on CuseTV on Cuse.com. Subscriptions to CuseTV are available at daily, monthly and yearly rates.

What to Watch For – Syracuse (27-4, 14-4)
1. Syracuse finished the regular season with a 27-4 record and finished second in the ACC standings in its first season in the league. The Orange earned a double-bye into the tournament quarterfinals.
2. Senior C.J. Fair leads the Orange in scoring this season, averaging 16.3 points per game. He also grabs 6.2 rebounds per contest. He was named to the All-ACC First Team by the media and the league's head coaches. He ranks 15th on Syracuse's all-time scoring list with 1,623 points.
3. Tyler Ennis is the first freshman in ACC history to lead the league in assists and steals. He is averaging 5.55 assists and 2.10 steals per game, both of which rank 30th in the nation. In addition, Ennis is 10th in the country in assists/turnover ratio.
What to Watch For – North Carolina State (20-12, 9-9)
1. North Carolina State defeated Miami, 67-58, in the second round of the ACC Tournament to advance to the quarterfinals. The win improved the Wolfpack's record to 20-12. North Carolina State was 9-9 in league play this season.
2. The Wolfpack is led by sophomore T.J. Warren. He is the ACC's leading scorer and tallied 40 or more points in two games this season. He was voted to the All-ACC First Team by the media and the coaches and was the media's pick as the conference player of the year.
3. Third-year head coach Mark Gottfried has led the Wolfpack to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, making him just the third coach in ACC history to do so in his first two years as head coach. Previously, Gottfried served as the head coach at Alabama from 1998-2009.
THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with North Carolina State, 4-1. The Orange defeated the Wolfpack, 56-55, earlier this season in the Carrier Dome for its school-record 25th consecutive win. SU trailed by one when Rakeem Christmas had a steal on the defensive end. He passed the ball to Tyler Ennis, who found C.J. Fair for a layup with 6.7 seconds remaining to give Syracuse the win.
