SYRACUSE, N.Y.-Â The Syracuse women's soccer team heads on the road to take on No. 16 Notre Dame on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. start time against Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 11.
Syracuse (4-8-1, 0-4 ACC) has lost its first four Atlantic Coast Conference matchups this season, including a tough 1-0 loss against Louisville on Sunday. Notre Dame (8-3-1, 1-3-0) is coming off a two-game skid after starting the season 8-1-1. The Irish have lost both of their past two matches by a score of 1-0, including a double overtime thriller against Miami.

"Going into these road environments is always tough," head coach Phil Wheddon said. "We started off ACC play with three tough road games and have two more ahead of us this weekend. We have history with both Notre Dame and Pittsburgh."
The Orange has never beaten Notre Dame as the Irish have an overall record of 11-0-0 against Syracuse. As for the Panthers, the Orange own the overall series with a record of 10-4-3.
