Christmas On Lute Olson All-America Team

Rakeem Christmas has added a spot on the 2015 Lute Olson All-America team to his long list of accomplishments. The Syracuse center, who has already earned his undergraduate degree and is working on a master's, is also a finalist for the Lute Olson National Player of the Year Award.

Christmas averaged a squad-best 17.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game. He finished his career with 142 games played, good for a sixth-place tie on Syracuse's all-time list. He climbed to eighth on the career blocked-shots ledger with 247 in his tenure.

He has been named USA Today Second-Team All-American, a third-team All-American by Sporting News, and was the most improved player and co-defensive player of the year in the ACC.
