Orange to face UNC in Friday's semifinals

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse is the No. 3 seed for the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship, which gets underway Friday, April 24 at PPL Park located right outside Philadelphia.

The Orange (9-2, 2-2 ACC) will play No. 2 seed North Carolina (12-2, 3-1 ACC) in the second semifinal game at 8 p.m. Syracuse lost an exciting game to the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, 17-15, on April 11.

Notre Dame holds the top seed. The Irish (9-1, 4-0 ACC) face No. 4 seed Duke (10-4, 1-3 ACC) in the first semifinal at 5:30 p.m. Notre Dame won the ACC regular-season championship and earned the No. 1 seed by defeating North Carolina Saturday, 15-14.

The winners of the two semifinal games meet for the conference championship on Sunday, April 26 at 1 p.m. All three tournament games will air live on ESPNU and the WatchESPN app.

Virginia plays Penn in the ACC-Penn Classic on Saturday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. That game will air on ESPN3.
