Harrison's Canadian 4x100-Meter Squad on to Pan Am Games Final

The rising senior has an opportunity to medal on Saturday
The Canadian 4x100-meter relay squad, which rising senior Shaina Harrison is part of, advanced to Saturday's final by taking second in its semifinal heat on Friday.

Harrison was not one of the four competitors on Friday, but is part of the six-athlete relay team, which the four competitors are selected from and could compete on Saturday.
Canada raced to a time of 42.98 seconds, which was second in the heat behind Jamaica's 42.82 seconds.
Harrison, who finished fifth at the Canadian Track and Field Championships earlier this month in the 100-meter dash, won Syracuse's first women's ACC Championship when she won the 60-meter dash at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Harrison will look to earn a medal in the final of the 4x100-meter dash on Saturday at 7:40 p.m.
