
Orange Regular-Season Opens With Lehigh

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse is scheduled to host Lehigh in its 2015-16 season opener on Friday, November 13, in the Carrier Dome.
The Orange own a 3-0 advantage in the all-time series with Lehigh. The two programs have not competed since Syracuse claimed a 34-17 victory on Dec. 31, 1931. The first meeting between the Orange and Mountain Hawks was on March 3, 1923, with Syracuse winning, 28-16. The Orange won a 51-23 decision on Jan. 10, 1931.
The Mountain Hawks were 16-14 overall and 10-8 in the Patriot League a season ago. Dr. Brett Reed is in his ninth season as Lehigh's head coach and is the winningest hoop mentor in Mountain Hawk history. He owns an overall mark of 161-119 and has guided Lehigh to two Patriot League titles and two NCAA Tournament berths.
Syracuse approaches the 2015-16 campaign with a streak of 44 consecutive winning seasons – the longest active streak in the Division I ranks. The Orange posted an 18-13 overall mark last year.

Deposits for 2015-16 Men's Basketball season tickets are on sale now for only $125 each, and provide priority seating before the general public on-sale, which begins August 25. Individual game tickets will go on sale to the general public on October 14.
