SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Syracuse women's ice hockey will hit the road on Tuesday, Jan. 12 to take on Union College for its final non-conference contest of the season at 7 p.m. inside Messa Rink.

Syracuse (8-10-5) is coming off a 2-2 tie against then No. 10 Colgate last Monday. Sophomore Megan Quinn scored a goal and dished out an assist on the game-tying goal late in the third frame. Union (0-16-5) has yet to win a game this season out of 21 tries and is currently 0-9-0 at home.

Tuesday's contest will mark the final non-conference game for Syracuse this season. The Orange are 3-9-1 against teams outside of the CHA, including a 2-5-0 record on the road.

The Dutchwomen are winless through 21 games, posting an overall record of 0-16-5 that includes a 0-9-0 record at home this season.

Kathryn Tomaselli leads Union with eight points, including a team-high five goals to go with three assists. Alli Devins has a team-high five assists and is behind Tomaselli with six points. Four Dutchwomen have five points.

Melissa Black has started in 18-of-19 contests in between the pipes, garnering a .936 save percentage despite her 0-13-5 record. Black has 707 saves in net and a 2.57 goals against average. 4Union is averaging under one goal per game (0.8) while giving up three goals to its opponents.

The Dutchwomen are coming off two 5-0 losses over the weekend against ECAC foes Princeton and Quinnipiac.
