SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse concludes its three-game homestand with a midweek contest against Boston College. The squads tip off at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Both the Orange (10-7, 0-4) and Eagles (7-8, 0-2) are looking for their first ACC wins of the season.

TOP FIVE STORYLINES
COONEY LEADS THE WAY
Graduate student Trevor Cooney tallied a season-high 27 points to lead Syracuse against North Carolina. He converted on a season-high five three-point field goal attempts, giving him 45 this season. Cooney ranks fourth in the ACC in three-point field goals made (2.6 per game) and is 10th in three-point field goal percentage (.363).

RICHARDSON SHOWS ALL-AROUND GAME
Freshman Malachi Richardson continues to put his complete game on display. Against North Carolina, he was 4-for-10 from three-point range on his way to 16 points. He also pulled down four rebounds and dished out a season-high five assists. Richardson ranks 10th in the ACC in three-point field goals made, averaging 2.2 per contest.

LYDON DEFENSIVE STOPPER
Freshman Tyler Lydon recorded four blocks against North Carolina on Saturday, marking the fifth time this season he has had four or more blocked shots in a game. He leads the team with 36 this season. Lydon ranks third in the ACC in blocks per game (2.2) and is 28th in the nation in total blocks (28).

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
 Boston College enters Wednesday's game on a two-game losing streak. The Eagles opened ACC play with an 81-64 loss to Duke before losing to Notre Dame, 82-54. Both games were played at Conte Forum.

The Eagles' offense is led by Eli Carter, who ranks sixth in the ACC in scoring (17.0 ppg.). Jerome Robinson is also averaging double figures in scoring, contributing 12.3 points per game. Dennis Clifford is Boston College's leading rebounder, grabbing 7.0 per game. He also leads the squad with 16 blocks.

THE SERIES
Syracuse leads the all-time series with Boston College, 43-24. The Orange won both meetings between the two schools last season, posting a 69-61 victory in the Carrier Dome before defeating the Eagles, 70-56, in Chestnut Hill.
