Orange Return Home to Host Notre Dame, Louisville

Conference schedule continues in Women’s Building
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – After returning from a split weekend in the Sunshine State, the Orange volleyball team (3-11, 2-2 ACC) continues its conference schedule at home this weekend, playing host to Notre Dame and Louisville.
Syracuse welcomes the Irish (13-3, 4-0 ACC) to the Women's Building on Friday night for a 7 p.m. match. Friday will be pink day, as 'Cuse honors and supports Breast Cancer Awareness. Pink Syracuse water bottles will be given away for free, and a Susan G. Komen informational table will be set up on site.
The Orange will return to action on Sunday against Louisville (6-9, 1-4 ACC) in a 1 p.m. game. Sunday's match will be military day, as two local veterans will be in attendance and free keychains will be given out.
Entrance to both matches at the Women's Building is free of charge. Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable Sports Network and will also be carried on ACC Network Extra. Links to broadcasts and live stats will be available for both games on Cuse.com.
The Orange meet the Irish on the court for the 27th time this Friday, as Syracuse trails Notre Dame in the all-time series, 5-21.
'Cuse claimed a pair of wins over ND last season, first in five sets in South Bend (26-28, 25-21, 27-25, 21-25, 15-13) and then in four sets (27-29, 25-12, 25-17, 25-16) in Syracuse over Thanksgiving weekend.
Notre Dame looks to continue its conference unbeaten streak, as the Irish have defeated Louisville, Miami, Duke and Wake Forest to stay a perfect 4-0 in ACC play.
Louisville heads to central New York looking for its second conference win of the season, as the Cardinals have fallen to Notre Dame, #15 Florida State, Wake Forest and Duke. Louisville defeated Boston College on the road, 3-2, on Thursday night.
Sunday's game marks the 23rd time that the pair will meet on the court, as the Cardinals hold a 21-1 lead over 'Cuse in the all-time series

The Orange swept Louisville last season (25-23, 25-22, 25-15) at the Women's Building on senior day for the first win over the ACC foe. Earlier in 2015, 'Cuse fell to the Cardinals in Louisville in four sets (12-25, 25-22, 16-25, 18-25).
