LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Orange look to earn its sixth consecutive win as they travel to square off against No. 18/-- Louisville on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum! Center.

LIGHTS OUT LYDON
Freshman Tyler Lydon knocked down a career high 20 points on Sunday afternoon against Boston College. He also grabbed six rebounds on the day for the Orange. In the previous game against Florida State, Lydon recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and ten rebounds.

THREE IS A MAGIC NUMBER
The Orange were eight-for-ten (.800) from behind the arc in the second half at Boston College on Sunday. Graduate student Michael Gbinije was 3-for-3 in the second half and 4-for-6 on the day from three-point range. In the previous game against Florida State, the guard shot 4-for-5 on 3-point field goals.

WITH AN ASSIST FROM RICHARDSON
Freshman Malachi Richardson has lead the team in assists in the Orange's last three contests. He recorded five in each victory over Florida State and Boston College; a career high he has reached three times total this season.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville is looking to get back on track after losing to Duke and Notre Dame on the road last week. The Cardinals are just ahead of the Orange in the ACC standings with an 8-5 record. A Syracuse victory on Wednesday would put the Orange ahead of the Cardinals.

Louisville ranks seventh in the nation for scoring defense, allowing only 60.8 points per game on average this season. The Cardinals are led in scoring by Damion Lee; the 6'-6" graduate student averages 16.5 points a game.

THE SERIES
Wednesday's contest marks the 24th meeting between the squads. Louisville leads the series 15-8. Syracuse came out victorious in its last meeting in February during the 2014-15 campaign. The Orange downed the then ranked No. 12/12 Louisville 69-59 at the Carrier Dome. The victory featured a 29-point performance from Rakeem Christmas and 18 points from Gbinije.
