Eaton Wins USATF Indoor Title
3/14/2016 9:25:00 AM | Track and Field
It wasn't just a successful weekend for the current Orange on the track, as shortly after Freddie Crittenden III placed second in the 60-meter hurdles and Justyn Knight took third in the 3000-meters at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Syracuse alum Jarret Eaton won the U.S.A. Track and Field Indoor Championship in the 60-meter hurdles.
Eaton finished with a time of 7.52 seconds in the meet, which took place in Portland, Oregon on Saturday. The 2012 NCAA Champion in the event, Eaton beat our second place finisher Spencer Adams by 0.06 seconds to preserve the win.
Eaton will now represent the U.S. at the IAAF World Indoor Championships, which will also take place in Portland, from March 17-20.
