Orange Arrive in Chicago

CHICAGO - The Syracuse men's basketball team embarked on its Sweet Sixteen journey on Wednesday, traveling to Chicago for the NCAA Midwest Regional to be played at the United Center in Chicago.
The Orange practiced at the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketbll Center before their charter flight to Chicago. After a team meal, the players were surprised by equipment manager Dan Shworles with brand new special edition Nike shoes and socks for the Sweet Sixteen. The shoes are part of Nike Basketball's "Bring Your Game" white out campaign.
Thursday will be a busy day for the Orange as they make final preparations for Friday night's regional semifinal game vs. Gonzaga (9:40 p.m. ET, CBS). As always, Cuse.com will have full coverage.
